5 Star - North - Unfavourable
Known as the 5 Yellow Star or the troublesome Star. This sector should be quiet, peaceful, free of clutter and limiting construction or ground breaking, with little activity for the year.

3 Star - North East - Unfavourable
The visiting star is 3 Wood is known for stress, quarrels, arguments, legal problems, raised tempers and disputes. A perfect location for areas that have storage, sinks, baths and WCs or are not lived in frequently. In 2009 this sector is also the Grand Duke of Jupiter, or the ruling sector of the year. Avoid construction, noise and lots of activity in this area for the year.

7 Star - East - Unfavourable
This is known as broken soldier or the fighting Star. It can be associated with gossip, back stabbing, deception and high emotions for 2009. This sector also has the 3 Killings known for loss and accidents, again limit construction and disturbance in this area.

8 Star - South East - Favourable
This is known for as the financial area this year, associated with income, finances, transactions and business. Very favourable! This suits areas like a home office or where you make important telephone calls.

4 Star - South - Favourable
This sector is known for studies, academic and scholarly progression as well as fortifying romantic relationships.

6 Star - South West - Unfavourable & Favourable
This is known as a military Star associated with career, politicians, leaders and people of authority. A fitting position for a home office in the current year. This is a favourable position however the Year Breaker also resides here for 2009. Try to keep this sector quiet and avoid disturbance and construction.

2 Star - West - Unfavourable
Known as the illness and sickness Earth Star, relating to stomach, respiration conditions and health issues. Not great for important areas e.g. where you rest, sleep or work. Great for storage, WCs, and garages. Avoid bringing in the Fire Element (colours, symbolism, triangle shapes and candles), which in the 5 Element Cycle would feed the Earth Element.

1 Star - North West - Favourable
This star is associated with reputation, recognition and development.
