Feng Shui Compass School

Feng Shui Compass School uses ancient mathematical formulae that analyse orientation and the time factor. Compass directions are taken with the Lo Pan Compass and the formulae are applied to the exterior plot and interior floor plan of your property. Compass readings can be taken from the front door, the back door and inside the home. There are a variety of readings and formulae within the Feng Shui Compass School each analysing a different aspect.
There are 8 compass directions and the Tai Chi (middle sector). This creates up an octagonal shape that can be laid over a plot or floor plan (known as the Bagua).
Each compass direction represents:
A direction ♦ North
An element ♦ Water
A Trigram ♦ Kan
A member of the family ♦ Middle Son
A Lo Shu number ♦ 1
A season ♦ Winter
An organ ♦ Kidneys
A colour ♦ Black, dark blue
And so on.........
It gets more complex when you look at the compass directions for the exterior and interior, as the representations change between the two. And going a little bit deeper into Compass School Feng Shui, within the compass another layer is the 24 Mountains.
Here's an example: the 3 Mountains in the South are made up of Yang Fire, Horse and Yin Fire. Together they symbolise the element Fire, the Father Trigram and the Middle Daughter Trigram. This is probably starting to highlight how important it is to have a professional Feng Shui Consultant working on your property.

Compass School Feng Shui - Chinese Flying Stars
The Lo Pan Compass is used to take readings of the site (rear position of the property) and the facing (180 degrees from the rear position). The Flying Stars method uses numerology, the Lo Shu square, 5 Element Theory and the time factor to analyse your property. The Flying Stars is a complex and in-depth tool which highlights favourable and unfavourable areas. The Feng Shui Consultant makes suggestions on these areas based on their observations and calculations.
