Feng Shui Colors - 5 Element Theory

Feng Shui Color Schemes - You may think that to bring love and passion into a room you need the colour red or pink. With Feng Shui and the Flying Stars system – if there is too much of the Fire Element in the room, these colours will make the problems worse. So you choose green instead to make the room calmer and relaxing, but wait...... green is the Wood Element and in the 5 Element Cycle – this feeds the Element Fire. Neither are a great choice. The Element Earth would drain Fire of its strength – colours of cream and browns.

You can achieve colour balance in the home following the Flying Stars calculations. These highlight which Element is needed in each room to either; make the combination stronger or weaker.

As you can see from the above comparisons, Feng Shui Color Schemes are COMPLETELY DIFFERENT – they symbolise the 5 Elements!

Wood Green, Blue green, Olive green, Forest green

Fire Red, purple, sky blue, baby blue, lilac, pink, orange, baby pink, violet, turquoise

Earth Brown, cream, yellow, tan, beige, grey-brown, earthy tones, ivory, magnolia

Metal Brilliant white, silver, gold, chrome, brass, bronze, copper, any metallic colour

Water Black, navy, midnight blue, dark blue, charcoal, dark blue-gray
